What is a Complimentary Initial Meeting?

Your Complimentary Initial Meeting is where I meet with you to learn more about you as a couple and to discuss your wedding planning needs over coffee or tea in a relaxed setting. It's also a chance for us to connect face to face and for you to ask any questions you may have about the planning process or my company. It helps us figure out what planning service would be best for you.

We need Day-Of Coordination. Do you limit phone/email contact?

Not at all. Many Day-Of Coordination couples have happy news, questions or concerns that pop up if they hire me far in advance. However, I do explain at the time of signing the different services that I offer. If you feel you require more one on one time, personal consultations or vendor consultations, then we will definitely discuss this in more detail when we meet for your Complimentary Initial Meeting.

Do you provide same-sex wedding planning?

Yes we do! Your wedding planning time is important to us. We work with all couples that need our assistance throughout their engagement as well as the day of their wedding to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible. We work with amazing vendors that understand your needs and want your day to be special. Please email me for more information.

I just need a referral for a vendor. I'm not looking to hire a coordinator. Is this possible?

Absolutely! I offer consultations to help you with vendor selection and referrals. I have consultation packages that I'd be happy to discuss with you. Please call me at (905) 239-7526 for more details.

I just need a quote as we're shopping around for a wedding planner.

It's an important decision so I completely understand. If you would like a quote without meeting, there is specific information that I require from you in order to give you an approximate quote for my services. You will receive a confirmed quote after your Complimentary Initial Meeting with me.

Is this your real job?

I know, you're surprised to see this question, however I'm asked this frequently before couples hire me for my services. Yes, I am a certified wedding planner full time and I love it!

My schedule is different from the 9-5, can you accommodate meetings at any time?

I can definitely accommodate meetings between 9am and 9pm (Eastern Standard Time). If you do not fall in this time frame, please call me and we can arrange a phone call or a video Skype meeting outside of these hours.

How far in advance should we book you?

It depends on the service you require. For Full Wedding Planning, as soon as possible is ideal and preferred. This way we can get you started right away with vendor selection.

How many weddings does On Your Day Events take on per year?

Astra personally will take on 12-15 weddings per year. On Your Day Events as a company can take up to 52 weddings in one year.
